Automation and prefill

Pass context into a form and notify another system afterward

Payment Page includes query-string prefill behavior and outbound HTTP actions; both should be configured with least-privilege data handling.

What it does

Prefill supported form values before payment, then configure a successful-payment HTTP action for an endpoint that should receive the selected payment data.

Payment Page HTTP request action controls

Prefill known context

Supported shortcode request values can reduce retyping for a known customer or campaign. Treat the URL as visible data and never place secrets in it.

Send a post-payment request

The webhook action can call an HTTP endpoint after a successful payment. Validate the receiver and send only the data it needs.

Design for retries and duplicates

The receiving system should identify the payment and handle repeat delivery safely rather than creating duplicate records or side effects.

Good to know

A few practical details

  • Query strings are not a place for passwords, card data, or secrets.
  • An outbound HTTP action is not proof of a native Zapier or CRM app.
  • Receiving endpoints need their own authentication, validation, logging, and idempotency.
