After payment

Control the message and follow-up after a payment

Payment Page includes configurable result messages and email behavior so each form can tell customers what happens next.

What it does

Use action settings for payment success and failure content, redirect behavior, customer confirmation email, administrator recipients, and HTTP follow-up.

Payment Page confirmation email controls

Show an accurate result

Configure separate success and failure content. Asynchronous methods such as ACH and SEPA may be processing before reaching a final state, so copy must not imply instant settlement.

Send the configured email

Confirmation email settings include customer-facing content and a plain-text alternative. Actual delivery still depends on the WordPress site email configuration.

Redirect only when it helps

A redirect can send customers to an onboarding or download page, while an inline result can keep the payment details in context.

Good to know

A few practical details

  • Email delivery depends on the WordPress site’s email configuration.
  • Do not describe a processing ACH or SEPA payment as settled.
  • The email controls are designed for payment confirmations, not full marketing campaigns.
