Donations and custom amounts

Let donors choose an amount without adding a store

Payment Page can present fixed giving options or a custom amount, then collect the payer details your organization needs.

What it does

Leave a price open to let the customer enter an amount for a one-time payment or recurring donation plan.

Offer fixed and open choices

Use clear suggested amounts for common gifts and an open amount when supporters should choose. Avoid implying tax deductibility; that depends on the organization and jurisdiction.

Ask only relevant questions

Custom fields can capture an optional dedication, campaign, or contact detail. Keep the form short and explain how donor information will be used.

Configure a useful confirmation

Show a thank-you message, redirect when appropriate, and send the configured confirmation email.

Good to know

A few practical details

  • Payment Page does not determine tax deductibility or issue legal tax advice.
  • Wallet visibility and recurring eligibility depend on Stripe.
  • PayPal Standard Checkout is one-time only.
