How it works

From installation to a ready-to-share payment form

Build the form, connect the right gateway, place it on your site, and test the complete customer journey before you accept live payments.

  1. Step 1

    Install Payment Page

Install Payment Page from WordPress.org, then confirm that your WordPress site uses HTTPS and meets the plugin requirements.

  2. Step 2

    Configure a gateway

Use Stripe Connect authorization for an eligible Stripe account or configure PayPal Standard Checkout for one-time payments. Never paste or publish credentials outside the intended settings.

  3. Step 3

    Build and review the form

Start from a blank form or a Payment Form Template. Review every price, field, billing schedule, payment method, confirmation, and follow-up action.

  4. Step 4

    Place and test the form

Use the shortcode or native Elementor widget. Check the responsive layout and complete gateway test-mode flow before accepting live payments.

Before live payments

Test more than the happy path

  • Use the gateway’s test mode so no real money moves.
  • Check successful, failed, and incomplete payment attempts.
  • Confirm email, redirect, and HTTP-action behavior for your configuration.
  • Review your legal, tax, refund, privacy, accessibility, security, and fulfillment responsibilities.
